Hailing out from La Isla de San Fernando in Cádiz, this Young artist is devoted to Andalusian folk and roots, from flamenco to copla, including cante and quejío. Carmen is not only a simple MC that blends tradition and modernity in her powerful rap, but also a great piano performer and a clever mind when singing to Andalucía as a way to expose Capitalism oppression from local to global. Far away from archetypical items and deep inside in her Andalusí roots, Xía states on the mic: “you can not kill memory, you can not steal pardon... Al Andalus shows up again!”. Carmen Xía is supporting her debut album on 2022.
