FAIXA

FAIXA is a musical collective that hails out from in the regions of Alcoià and El Comtat (Valencian Country) since 2022 with the aim of de-sacralising and revitalising Valencian intangible heritage through cutting-edge electronic music. The quartet’s sound draws from cant de batre and Moorish marches as much as from dubstep, UK bass, jungle, and footwork — with local nods such as the iconic Ruta del Bakalao.
Since their stage debut in 2023 and the release of their self-titled debut album in 2024, FAIXA has collaborated with prominent figures from the traditional scene such as Carles Dénia, Noelia Llorens “Titana” and Josep Aparicio “Apa”, gaining the attention of diverse audiences and specialised media alike.
In 2025, the group will combine their passion for setting local stages ablaze with a live set as tight as it is thunderous, along with new studio productions to be released as singles.
