Franky Brownz

Franky Brownz is a son of Barcelona’s Raval and 100% working class, of course, and music has let him keep going through the day-to-day of life in one of the most loaded, intense neighborhoods at the heart of the 21st-century “Rosa de Foc” (Barcelona’s Rose of Fire). Rap has always played the role of chronicler, and Franky, with his, portrays things that often stay out of frame, with humor, rawness and no filter. With a long track record on the live circuit of the most iconic and classic venues in the Barri Xino and Ciutat Vella in general, like Jamboree and Savage, as well as its streets and squares, he is a rapper with over four years of a steady recording career, from “Burn” (2020) and “Puro Finger” (2022) to the EPs and singles “WNDWS,” “Xpensivo,” “Te Diria,” “BBY SPINACH” and “MOTIV0S”. He now steps up to the full-length with ‘El Hijo de la Loca’, his debut album, out November 20, 2026: expect fat beats and bars and images that, through an artistic lens, put police abuse, gender violence and the weight of drugs front and center as a way to cushion a reality that’s often too harsh.
